This is a high strength glucosamine and chondroitin formula that also provides potent levels of other nutrients. Each ingredient has been selected based on their different, but complimentary, functions and are presented at levels that are nutritionally relevant.
Three tablets provide the full 1500mg of glucosamine sulphate, the level used in many studies, as well as 300mg of chondroitin sulphate (see note below) and 150mg of MSM per daily dose. The powerful bioflavonoid quercetin has been included at a potent 60mg, plus 1200mg of ginger (as a concentrated extract), as well as 400mg of rose hip. Few, if any, joint formulas provide these potencies in a single formula.
Chondroitin mislabelling: Many companies use a preparation that is just 20% chondroitin but their label may declare this as if it is 100% chondroitin. Therefore a supplement declared as ‘400mg chondroitin sulphate’ is often just 80mg of chondroitin sulphate. Of course this Lamberts® supplement uses 330mg of a 90% chondroitin preparation (per 3 tablets) to provide the 300mg of pure chondroitin sulphate declared on the label.

Three tablets provide a full 1400mg of glucosamine sulphate, the level used in many studies. Lamberts Glucosamine Complete utilises GlucosaGreen® - the world’s first commercially available glucosamine produced by a revolutionary direct-fermentation process. Bioequivalent to the glucosamine derived from shellfish, GlucosaGreen® is vegan friendly and provides full supply chain transparency and traceability, addressing the many challenges inherent to chitin-derived shellfish production, such as:

- Allergen concerns,
- Environmental pollution caused by the process of extracting chitin from shellfish.
Glucosamine Complete combines GlucosaGreen® with Phytodroitin™ - a plant-origin alternative to chondroitin, manufactured from a blend of seaweed extracts. Lamberts Glucosamine Complete provides 330mg of Phytodroitin™ (per 3 tablets), equivalent to 300mg of pure chondroitin. With a focus on relevant botanicals, the powerful bioflavonoid, quercetin, has been included at a potent 50mg, plus 1200mg of ginger and 400mg of rose hips. Our formula is complete by the addition of 150mg of MSM.
- Quercetin: a bioflavonoid that is naturally found in fruit and vegetables, particularly in apples. This bioflavonoid is a potent antioxidant and may also play a part in inhibiting the production and release of histamines.
- Ginger: a popular spice, often used alongside glucosamine.
- Rose hips: naturally rich in vitamin C and contribute to normal collagen formation for the normal function of cartilage.
- MSM: as a naturally occurring sulphur compound, MSM is one of the major building blocks of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), a key component of cartilage.
Presented as a vegan friendly, three-a-day formula, this product is great for those following a plant-based diet, and for those with a shellfish allergy who are unable to take traditional glucosamine and chondroitin supplements.
